As a  young girl I have loved the creative process. I always knew I wanted to be an artist. I spent my time either drawing or sewing. It seemed natural that my art would combine the two. Fiber is a fascinating medium for me. To combine it's color and texture to create my imagery gives me great satisfaction. 

     For many years I traveled our beautiful country with my husband in our RV.  When we arrived in the Sonoran Desert I knew I was home. My current work focuses on Arizona and how different each region is. The landscape in Sedona is much different than Tucson.

     My photographs are the basis for my art work and allow me to create a more accurate perspective of the scene. To create my art I look for fabrics that have wonderful colors, or interesting textures.
